Mind Meets Matter on the Brain Dead x ASICS TRABUCO MAX

Brain Dead's collaborative products are mental, just like the brand's name would indicate! Founder Kyle Ng has brought Brain Dead together with ASICS once before – on a three-party GEL-Fratelli collaboration that also included Kiko Kostadinov – and now he's back with a new TRABUCO MAX.

Dubbed 'Organic Chaos Design', the Brain Dead x ASICS TRABUCO MAX nods to Ng's passion for the great outdoors. Normally a trail-ready runner, here the silhouette is serving an alternate purpose as a late-year lifestyle option. It features a shimmering green pattern on its upper, which works with a pebbled midsole and small blue streaks on the toe box to provide unique texture fitting of the 'Organic Chaos' moniker. More pops of flair are supplied by a red Tiger stripe on the midfoot, plus bright yellow laces and Brain Dead tongue branding.

GEL is nowhere to be found on these babies either: they utilise a combination of FlyteFoam cushioning, GUIDESOLE stability technology, and a rugged ASICSGRIP outsole pattern for a setup that's both trail-tested and street-ready.

Expect the Brain Dead x ASICS TRABUCO MAX to release on the Brain Dead webstore on October 7. They're also serving as a start to a busy collaborative October for ASICS, who are releasing a BAPE x ASICS GEL-1090 'France Camo' and rolling out a 'The ASICS Collective' initiative.
