The BEAMS x Salomon XA PRO 1 is Available Now!

Stalwart Japanese clothing behemoth BEAMS is no stranger to GORE-TEX, nor the Salomon XA PRO. The trio have forged a tight bond following a bunch of asymmetrically colour-blocked XA PRO 3D collaborations. Back in business, BEAMS and Salomon have now decided to tap the XA PRO 1 silhouette – and sauce it up with GORE-TEX once again.

The XA PRO 1 is one of Salomon’s earliest trail runners, recently resurrected from the brand’s early-2000s archive. BEAMS keep that same old-stye build, rocking with a full mesh base and zig-zag panels leading into the metal eyelets that hold the Quicklace system. However, they’ve elevated it with asymmetry, changing the lateral colour on both the left and right pair to cater for their more fashion-forward consumer. Rounding it out, BEAMS coated the upper in GORE-TEX for the real GORP-enthusiasts looking to test these on the trails.
