The ASICS GEL-Lyte III ‘Dragon Fruit’ Takes a Tropical Twist
During its late-2000s revival, the was rendered in all sorts of fruity colours – the clashing palettes a result of their time. In 2020, the storied silhouette returns to that juicy mentality, taking on its namesake ‘Dragon Fruit’ edition.
The GL3’s OG nylon and microfibre uppers make an ideal conduit for all sorts of teal and pink shades, contrasted strongly by black Tiger Stripes and laces. Even the breathable toe and midfoot inserts are dipped in soft hues. The coloured midsole accents are a nice touch. It feels like it's 2008 all over again.
