The Air Jordan 5 'Top 3' Pays Homage to the OGs
The iconic continues to bask in its three-decade anniversary, welcoming a number of OG colourways back to shelves in 2020. Perhaps the perfect homage to the Tinker Hatfield design, this latest ‘Top 3’ rendition pays tribute to the colour schemes that made the Air Jordan 5 one of the most beloved silhouettes on the roster.
Comprising of elements from the ‘Black Metallic’, ‘Fire Red’, and ‘Grape’, the ‘Top 3’ mishmash is sure to warm the hearts of diehard fans. Harking back to The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, the purple and teal ‘Grape’ tones hit the tongue, Jumpman logo, and lining. Moving south, the black hues on the upper are an unmistakable ode to the ‘Black Metallic’, contrasted with a bold red ‘23’ on the lateral side, and the fan-favourite Nike Air branding on the rear. Additionally, the ‘Fire Red’ colours heat up the aggressive shark-tooth sole unit, with an icy blue outsole providing a familiar final touch.
