The Air Jordan 4 ‘Shimmer’ Releases Next Month

The Air Jordan 4 has been going HAM all 2021 long, and that’s mostly thanks to the absolute heater inline colourways Jordan Brand have been pushing. From the ‘Tech White’ to the ‘Lightning’, it’s left the fans wanting more AJ4! Next to land and cause hysteria among sneakerheads is the ‘Shimmer’, and a drop date has been locked in for September.

Rumours of this women’s-exclusive iteration first surfaced towards the tail end of 2020, and hype definitely started to brew because of the similarities with the Off-White x Air Jordan 4. After a slew of leaked info and in-hand looks, the rumours were finally confirmed through Jordan Brand’s 2021 Fall Preview.

The ‘Shimmer’ is quite an obscure take on the Air Jordan 4. Classic colour-blocking has been cast to the side, with Jordan Brand instead opting for a nude hue that covers most of the leather upper. Subtle contrast hits come through via the white netting and matching midsole.

The women’s Air Jordan 4 ‘Shimmer’ has been secured to release on September 3 via select retailers.
