The Air Jordan 4 ‘Infrared’ Prepares to Take Flight
Michael Jordan’s indelible 1989 hardwood classic continues to fuel the sneaker zeitgeist in 2021, the Air Jordan 4 remixed by everyone from Union LA to Virgil Abloh in recent times.
Hot on the heels of Union’s outdoor-inspired ‘Tent and Trail’ collection, the Jumpman is now reportedly planning on revisiting the boiling-hot ‘Infrared’ colourway, the design set to take flight in 2022.
Composed in a mix of ‘Dark Grey’, ‘Infrared 23’, black, and ‘Cement Grey’, recent mock-ups suggest aesthetic similarities to 2013’s ‘Green Glow’ release. Again manufactured with classic nubuck uppers and signature mesh underlays, the AJ4 ‘Infrared’ this time sparks-up the silhouette with infrared eye-stays and tongue labels, while the white midsoles and grey outsoles present a clean palette down below.
Look for the Air Jordan 4 ‘Infrared’ to release on February 5. The retail price is $190.
