The Air Jordan 35 might have been filling news feeds for just over six months now, but that doesn’t mean is hasn’t got any more surprises up its sleeve. The latest chapter in Jordan Brand’s long history of on-court innovation and style, the AJ35 is about to hit the scene in an eye-catching ‘Fire Red’ colourway.

Of course, the ‘Fire Red’ scheme has enjoyed a long affinity with models from the Jumpman hangar, recently emerging in retro colourways on the Air Jordan 4, Air Jordan 3, and Air Jordan 5. However, while those renditions went for the white, red and black combo, this new AJ35 release opts for white, ‘Metallic Silver’, and ‘Fire Red’.

Phoenix Mercury guard Kia Nurse is a strong advocate for the Air Jordan 35. When the silhouette launched in September last year, Nurse said, ‘I feel so athletic in the new Eclipse Plate. I can feel it especially when I get into the lane – to be able to plant, go up, create contact and finish. Every time I get a board, I want to tell my teammates, ‘You saw my bounce, right?”’

The Air Jordan 35 ‘Fire Red’ is listed on Nike Japan as ‘Coming Soon’, while news of a wider release remains hard to come by for now. We’ll let you know if that changes.
