It’s the ’s 30th birthday, and boy, there's lot to celebrate — the shoe was the first Jordan sneaker designed by , it was the first outing of the now-iconic Jumpman logo, and it was the first Jay to include a visible Air unit. A true collaboration between the GOAT and legendary designer, the Jordan 3 was the design that kept Jordan signed with Nike.

The ‘Tinker’ brings Hatfield’s early sketches to life, using the classic ‘Fire Red’ colourway and putting the Swoosh back on the side of the classic basketball shoe, as per the original design. The iconic elephant print makes a blacked-out appearance on the mudguard, and original Jumpman and branding is used on the tongue and heel counter. The tribute continues with Tinker’s signature under the tongue, as well as insoles printed with the original sketches. The Jordan 3 is one of the pinnacles of the signature line and the ‘Tinker’ serves up its history in one fell swoop.

Look out for these at select Jordan stockists on March 24.
