The Air Jordan 3 ‘Cool Grey’ Brings Back the ‘Nike Air’ Heel Logo
The legendary is never too far away from the headlines – and rightfully so. Famed for being the sneaker that convinced to stay with Nike, the Air Jordan 3 is one of Tinker Hatfield’s most revered design accomplishments. Set to join the 2021 lineup, the fan-favourite ‘Cool Grey’ colourway is back for the first time since 2007, and it’s coming through with some details that will please the purists!
In terms of the colours, things are kept pretty true for the 2021 retro. However, the materials have been pleasingly elevated compared to previous renditions. Up top, we’ve got a premium leather in grey, while the midsole arrives a touch darker with a stylish matte finish. On the overlays, we’ve got the familiar Air Jordan 3 elephant print, which matches nicely with the neutral tones, while contrasting bright orange pops arrive on the eyelets by the vamp and towards the tongue. For further iconography, a red Jumpman features on the tongue, while classic ‘Nike Air’ branding decorates the heel. These are ice cold!
