Initially debuted by during the 1998 NBA All-Star Game, the super stealthy ‘Playoffs’ is set to launch at this week.
Carefully curated to feature its beloved original specs, the re-release marks the third time that the Air Jordan 13 ‘Playoffs’ has been called up from the bench. And, this time, the drop coincides with the 2023 All-Star Game in Utah.
Inspired by Michael Jordan’s devastating, panther-like reflexes (which earned him the moniker ‘Black Cat’), the Air Jordan 13 this time comes rendered in covert black dimpled side panels in premium leather. Once again, the signature holographic cat’s eye emblem strikes the collars, while the outsoles are famously inspired by panther paws.
The Air Jordan 13 has recently enjoyed a steady run of hits, coinciding with the model’s 25th anniversary. Notably, the silhouette was catapulted by the unreleased Notorious B.I.G x Air Jordan 13 at Sotheby’s this month – which raised an incredible $510,000 for the Christopher Wallace Memorial Foundation, supporting inner-city youth education.
