The Air Jordan 1 ‘Seafoam’ Washes Ashore
The tide is still high as yet another colourway is incoming. This one’s known as the ‘Seafoam’, and the briny finish makes itself known to prospective buyers and/or resellers.
At this point in time, the AJ1 is so far removed from its basketball origins that see fit to use probably their best-selling model as a canvas for almost any concept. It’d be quite interesting for the colour designer at JB to explain the reasoning behind choosing this particular shade of ‘Seafoam’ pastel green, especially paired to these white shoelaces with ‘Healing Orange’ trim. Either way, it’s one of the cleaner AJ1 colourways in recent months, and the soft brushed aniline panels contrast nicely against the white full grain type. And there are three sets of laces to choose from. PSA to anyone buying men’s sizes on August 12: add 1.5 to the displayed size as this release is officially a women’s colourway. Take consolation in the fact these will also release in kids’ sizing, so at least someone will hopefully be able to get a pair.
