The  Air Jordan 1 Low is preparing for takeoff in ‘University Blue’, continuing a strong fortnight of releases for the low-cut rendition of Michael Jordan’s legendary first signature model. The bold colour-blocking riffs between black and ‘University Blue’, while a clean white midsole adds an additional touch of contrast.

In just the last couple of weeks, newsfeeds have been filled with an array of AJ1 Low heaters, including the summery ‘Tropical Twist’, the primo ‘Arctic Pink’, and the bold black and orange. Plus don’t forget the intricate ‘Chinese New Year’ design that celebrates the Year of the Ox – and will be limited to just 8500 pairs!

Don’t make the embarrassing mistake of confusing this silhouette with the current shoe-of-the-moment: the  Nike  Dunk. There are quite a few ‘blink and you’ll miss it’ differences between the Dunk and the Air Jordan 1, and some that are a little more obvious. You can read about all of them right  here.

Pairs of the Air Jordan 1 Low ‘University Blue’ are expected to launch on February 1 via Nike and selected Jumpman stockists.
