The Air Jordan 1 Low Deals a Strong HandRelease: TBC
The Air Jordan 1 Low has dealt a strong hand, with official images emerging of a new colourway that takes obvious inspiration from a deck of cards. Following in the footsteps of the similarly-themed Air Force 1 that surfaced a few days ago, the devil is in the details of this AJ1 Low.
Using a red, white and black colour base, the design slaps gold onto the side Swooshes, midfoot embroidery, and tongue branding to show that this release is playing for keeps. However, the most striking feature of this release has to be the paisley etched panels that stretch across the upper – drawing strong parallels with playing card artwork.
Elsewhere, the card playing vibe is driven home with alternating ‘K’ and ‘Q’ lettering on the aforementioned midfoot embroidery, and a stretching Jumpman sitting inside the Spades symbol on the tongue badge.
Jordan Brand are keeping their cards close to their chest when it comes to announcing an official release date, but pairs of the intricately detailed Air Jordan 1 Low ‘Spades’ are expected to land very soon.
