The adidas  UltraBOOST has emerged in two ‘Sky Tint’ colourways, offering a duo of psychedelic takes on the beloved model. The stormier of the two options combines ‘Core Black’, ‘Yellow Tint’ and ‘Sky Tint’ to create a somewhat ominous aesthetic that will have nervous flyers putting their seats back into the upright position. The Primeknit component of the upper has a mesmerising effect on the eye, and is not for the faint of heart.

Meanwhile, the calmer of the two opts for a clean mix of ‘Sky Tint’, ‘Yellow Tint’ and ‘Clear Pink’, but appears mostly white from a distance, save for the black outsole and lining.

The development of BOOST cushioning technology in 2013 inevitably created the adiZero Prime BOOST, which was the first adidas shoe to combine Primeknit with BOOST cushioning. However, it wasn’t until 2015 that Primeknit and BOOST took centre stage thanks to the introduction of the UltraBOOST. Earmarked as the next major advancement for the two convergent technologies, the UltraBOOST silhouette was a hit with both runners and sneakerheads thanks to its instant comfort right out of the box, plus its undeniably easy styling.

Both pairs of the adidas UltraBOOST featuring ‘Sky Tint’ are currently available from adidas.
