The adidas Ultra4D Taps NASA for a Themed Release
The past month has seen a frenzy of collaborative releases using the silhouette. From tonal take, to the tasty teal from , and the colour craziness from , the announcements have been making sneaker headlines around the globe. Venturing away once again from the more monochrome inline releases, Team Trefoil have looked to for inspiration on this latest space-ready iteration.
An already futuristic-looking shoe, this NASA makeover takes the Ultra4D to the next level with a shiny ‘Metallic Silver’ and ‘Halo Silver’ mixture highlighting the 4D printed sole unit down below. We also think this may be the first time that silvery hues have been used on adidas’ 4D midsole. Taking a look at the upper, it’s been made using cozy Primeknit, replicating the UltraBOOST 1.0. Ultra4D branding remains on the lateral heel cap, with a specialised tongue logo and NASA branded insole.
This NASA-inspired adidas Ultra4D is available now in select countries, and will be hitting more stockists, such as 43einhalb, on December 3.
