The adidas  Top Ten Low is preparing to release in a bold orange, black and white colourway that might prompt a few Jumpman fiends to daydream about Italian backboards shattering. The colour-blocking is super strong on this old school baller, with the lead shades of orange and black contrasting strongly across the upper, joined by a silver strip that runs from the top eyelet on each side of the lacing system and rims around the heel. Down below, a clean white midsole sits atop a gum outsole that almost matches the orange up top.

The adidas Top Ten was initially developed with help from 10 of America’s best basketball players – hence the eventual model name – in the late 1970s. One of the chosen 10, Rick Barry, provided valuable on-court insights to fine-tune the high-top version’s performance design.

The silhouette has enjoyed a strong return to form in recent times, including multiple thematic appearances in the ongoing Star Wars x adidas lineup – most notably  Boba Fett, C-3PO, and  Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Pairs of this bold adidas Top Ten Low are expected to launch soon, so keep an eye on adidas and select stockists like DTLR.
