Among a 2020 defined by unprecedented events, the decision by to retro the comes as one of the more welcome suprises. The underrated basketball silhouette debuted back in the year 1996, and was itself an update on the 1979 adi classic.
The Top Ten 2000 features the full gamut of adidas’ Equipment design at the turn of the last century, featuring exaggerated herringbone traction wrapping on the midsole, dense foam cushioning, and an intensely layered upper lockdown system. It may be a 20-year-old design at this point, but odds are they still hold their own on-court.
