While the adidas Ozrah is on the record for flexing its Ozweego inspiration, there’s no doubt it also offers something of a Yeezy vibe, borrowing a fair share of its chutzpah from its Three Stripes stablemate. And the futuristic silhouette looks right at home in this ‘Carbon’, ‘Core Black’, and ‘Orbit Violet’ colour scheme.
According to Team Trefoil, the ‘progressive silhouette pushes the boundaries of the expected’, and ‘a TPU cage wraps around the textile upper to create an edgy 360-degree look’. Down below, Adiprene cushioning adds all-day comfort.
In keeping with the current movement within the sneaker industry, the Ozrah also does its bit for sustainability, with 20 per cent of the upper components made from a minimum of 50 per cent recycled content. The Three Stripes have been genuine leaders in eco-conscious footwear, most notably with their Parley for the Oceans partnership. While traditional recycling relies on the consumer’s responsible disposal of plastics to keep the process moving, Parley take a modern approach, rescuing and revitalising trash that has already slipped through stormwater drains and into the oceans.
Pairs of the adidas Ozrah are available right now in Carbon/Core Black/Orbit Violet in select regions.
