The adidas NMD R1 ‘Tokyo’ Grips in Gold

As part of their ‘United by Sneakers’ pack, adidas are about to pay tribute to Tokyo with an  NMD R1 that glows with a golden midsole. The mostly white silhouette is a study in minor details, with accents applied throughout in ‘Core Black’ and ‘Scarlet’ – obvious highlights being the Japanese text on the heel tabs and midsole. Black rings the heel end of the midsole, before the all-important gold completes the look towards the front. 

The NMD R1 ‘Tokyo’ is expected to land on May 29 via adidas and selected Team Trefoil stockists.
