The adidas Forum 84 Low Resurrection Deserves All the Hype
The received the resurrection of a lifetime last year, and Team Trefoil will be pushing full steam ahead in 2021 with a slew of epic Forum Low releases. Originally dropping in 1984, the OG basketball sneaker released with a then-unheard-of $100 price tag. It was definitely the biggest flex of its day, and was seen on the feet of entertainers, pro-athletes, and the upper class of sneaker wearers across the globe. It still remains a favourite among sneaker fanatics and – the home of the classic Forum 84 Low – where they have just welcomed in two new colourways that exude nothin’ but pure 80s energy!
First up, we’ve got the OG white and blue. The whole shoe has been given the classic Forum look, as the full-leather white base makes way for blue pops on the midsole, suede Three Stripes branding, and tongue label. Furthering the vintage vibe is the slightly pre-yellowed aged midsole, plus cream-coloured laces.
The second colour combo to hit Hype DC borrows from a slightly different palette. Similar to its cohort, this bad boy rocks leather throughout the upper – but this time in a clean and ultra-classy beige. Elsewhere, the accents and Three Stripes have all been splashed in a dark navy with a luxe pop of gold on the Trefoil.
