Converse have started to collaborate with high-fashion designers that have a niche following. Most recently they linked with London-based Paria Farzaneh on an ultra-technical Pro Leather X2, and now they’ve enlisted Telfar to rework two Chuck 70s. Headed by Telfar Clemens, the New York–based genderless brand Telfar has already attracted a large cult-following, and were recently thrust into the mainstream because of their signature bag nicknamed the ‘Bushwick Birkin’.

This Converse collaboration includes two Chuck 70s that have been injected with Telfars signature aesthetic, and actually first debuted on the runway during a Paris Fashion week in the early days of 2020. Both pairs are loud, covered with all-one graphics and Telfar branding. One pair has been doused in a two-tone black and white, while the other goes for a white base with blue and red accents. Other specialised details include co-branded insoles and shady suede patches on the medial collar.

Both pairs of the Telfar x Converse Chuck 70s are available right now at select Converse retailers for $120 each alongside a slew of apparel including hoodies, jackets, t-shirts and shorts.
