appointment as creative director of MADE in USA department has already spawned different releases across the 990 series. That was Season 1 – now get ready for Season 2.
The next series of MADE in USA drops continues celebrating the , and flagship heritage models. As the weather changes, so do the colours Santis has selected for these releases. Bright hues were previously featured, but these next three editions use more subdued shades of grey, navy and tan. These specific colours aren’t just in line with his general aesthetic, but they’re also reverent references to the , another important model in NB’s archive. Like the other Santis-curated colourways so far, these 990s all use premium suede and mesh and are finished with custom tongue labels and insole branding. Additional pairs arriving in the following months will introduce brighter colours and archival combinations.
The first drops for New Balance MADE in USA Season 2 will begin arriving at retailers on October 27.
