Supreme x Timberland FW20 Lands this Week!Release: 12 November 2020
Supreme’s recent acquisition by VF Corporation signals a huge shake-up in the sneaker industry, the skate and streetwear giant agreeing to a deal reportedly exceeding $2.1 billion. VF Corp – whose subsidiaries include Vans, The North Face, and The Timberland Company – are wasting no time tapping into their latest acquisition, the Supreme x Timberland Fall/Winter 2020 collaboration scheduled to land this week.
VF Corp CEO Steve Rendle outlined his plans for the partnership this week, stating the potential revenue for both parties.
‘On a year to date basis, including the impact of COVID-related disruption, Supreme’s revenue has increased in a mid-single digit rate, including more accelerated growth since the launch of the brand’s Fall/Winter season,’ he said. ‘On a full-year basis, we expect Supreme to contribute more than $500 million in revenue.’
Releasing in three eye-catching colourways, the collaboration comes in the form of a classic 6-Inch Premium Waterproof Boot, of course featuring premium nubuck uppers and classic rugged triple stitching. Co-branding appears across both the insoles and uppers.
The Supreme x Timberland FW20 collaboration will see a global release on November 12.
