Supreme and Vans Get the Money Up
and are extending their very long-standing collaborative partnership with a new collection of exclusive colours. This relationship is unlikely to end any time soon as both brands exist under the VF Corporation megalith. The inspiration behind this upcoming drop is pretty straightforward: money, money, money.
Cash has been a consistent motif in Supreme’s graphic playbook, with the most notorious example being their money gun from a few years ago. These new Vans are likely going to be a bit easier to cop than that oft-faked trinket and are probably more useful, too. The collection features the , an absolute classic of the SoCal skate brand’s assortment, and the Grosso Mid, a board-ready model reminiscent of models like the Sk8-Mid.
The Grosso Mids use suede uppers offering beige, pink or black options paired with black midsoles, leaving space in the rear quarter to impose a zoomed-in graphic of the one-dollar bill. Meanwhile, the Era opts for an all-over money print for those who like cashing out on their kicks. The entire collection sports Vans Popcush insoles for legit skate chops.
The new Supreme x Vans collection will release on June 1 via Supreme channels, but Supreme Japan won’t drop the colab until June 3.
