Suit Up in Supreme’s Shiny Clarks Wallabees

After celebrating Day late last month, continue to highlight their hero silhouette with the addition of a new collaboration. Early images suggest that the UK-based footwear brand and NYC skate imprint have come together yet again, this time delivering the model in a selection of patent make-ups.

Judging by the images, the upcoming collection will drop in three colourways. Kicking things off, a beige number offers a shiny take on a typical cream-toned Wallabee, while a triple black pair follows suit. For those looking for something a little bolder, these monochromatic variations are accompanied by a two-tone green and red pair that calls back to the duo’s pack from 2015. The beige and two-toned iterations are finished up with Clarks’ usual gum-toned crepe soles, while the black pair sees its crepe soles shrouded in black.

Clarks and Supreme aren’t exactly strangers to each other, having linked up multiple times over the years. Over the course of the partnership, we’ve seen them reimagine the Wallabee in everything from to to variations, but there’s no denying that the use of patent leather feels like a step into a more formal footwear-focused territory. If you’re looking to get your hands on a pair, then mark your calendar for this week – pairs are expected to drop on May 23, with China, Japan and Korea following two days later.
