Creating a pop-culture inspired sneaker isn't easy. There's a fine line between properly capturing the source material and falling into garishly unwearable territory. But the crew at nailed the challenge with a handmade custom inspired by the legendary RX-78-2 Gundam from the classic Mobil Suit Gundam anime series.
Scratch-built from an assortment of premium materials, including leathers of calf, kangaroo and deer, this tribute features references to one of the most iconic fictional robots with its custom double-chevron perforated toe boxes, laser-engraved insoles and RX-78-2 insignias at the heel.
