Release Date: The Stussy x Nike Air Huarache ‘Desert Oak’
The streetwear pride of Laguna Beach, continue to link up with for some of the most sought-after collaborations in the game, this time remastering their inaugural collaboration with the Swoosh: the Nike .
Originally designed by Michael Kopelman and Nike’s Fraser Cooke, the initial Stussy x Nike Air Huarache launched exclusively at their London flagship store in 2000, the design retaining the original shape of the OG Huarache, while presenting the silhouette in neutral tones.
An industry-shifting collaboration in its time, the Stussy x Nike Air Huarache was originally composed in two colourways: Oak/Reed/Light Straw and a Dark Olive/White/Varsity Maize/Ivory variation.
The Stussy x Nike ‘Desert Oak’ is scheduled to release on February 18 via Nike SNKRS and selected retailers. It is expected to retail for $120 in adult sizing, and will also appear in toddler sizing for $60 and youth sizes for $80.
Stussy also teased another colourway in their 2021 lookbook, but release details have not yet been revealed for that ‘Dark Olive’ rendition. We’ll keep you posted when more info becomes available.
