There’s a Rumoured 2025 Stüssy x Nike Colab

Big news incoming! and are teaming up once again for 2025. After years of redefining the line between sport and streetwear, the two powerhouses are back with a fresh colab that’s already garnering attention.

According to various sources online, the upcoming project is set to spotlight the Baltoro boot – a rugged hiking model first introduced 35 years ago. Originally launched alongside the Swoosh's All Conditions Gear (ACG) line, Nike’s internal listings from early 1990 framed the Baltoro High as a purpose-built trail boot, constructed with weather-resistant leather, reinforced mesh and a dual-tone rubber overlay for added support. Underfoot, it featured a mix of lightweight and durable components, including an EVA base, a steel shank for structure and a grippy outsole built to handle rough terrain.

The colab marks the Baltoro’s second return, with the silhouette first reprising in 2005. In that iteration, Nike went hard amping up the boot's visual identity with exaggerated colour treatments that played off the original's bold design language.

Though Nike hasn’t publicly acknowledged the Baltoro’s return, the brand may have teased it through Fortnite’s in-game 'kicks' drop. A digital Baltoro boot was quietly added to the collection this week, letting players step into the silhouette before it lands IRL.
