While it feels like Jeff Staple has worked with just about every sneaker and streetwear company out there via his eponymous Staple brand, he hasn’t officially had a collaboration with Reebok. That changes very soon, when the Instapump Fury ‘VECTR’ drops.

The Instapump Fury is a 1990s classic, and it’s only natural that Staple’s first colab with the Vector brand is one of its most iconic. This effort goes big in the literal sense by displaying a massive namesake Vector logo on the sides of the external Pump bladders, but don’t let that detract from the other details. As the pigeon is the brand’s enduring motif, shades of grey are to be expected on the upper. This is emphasised further via a mixture of open mesh, hairy suede and nylon used throughout, contrasting against white inserts. There’s also hints of pigeon foot red – not quite as orange as previous Staple shoes – and the inspiration is shown right on the Pump button. To make it unmistakably Staple, there is a grey pigeon embroidered onto each heel of the Instapumps. What else did you expect?

The Staple x Reebok Instapump Fury ‘VECTR’ will release on July 29 exclusively from Staple and DEAL in China.
