SSENSE Celebrate 20 Years With Salomon XT-6 GTX

Canadian high-fashion retailer SSENSE are celebrating their 20th anniversary in style, with the launch of SSENSE XX. The project will include 20 limited edition releases in collaboration with creatives like Acne Studios, New Balance and The North Face.

SSENSE’s Chief Customer Officer, Daniel Habashi, says, ‘While many heritage brands use an anniversary to be retrospective, we're using SSENSE XX to look forward, by creating something new and special alongside our network of creatives who have played an influential role in shaping who we are today.’ Among these select creatives is also outdoor innovators Salomon, who will be delivering a collaborative XT-6 GTX for the occasion.

The model strikes in a combination of neutral and fluro colours, with the upper dressed in browns, cream and black while the midsole shines in bright green and blue. As for the materials, the partners have opted for GORE-TEX, of course, for that essential waterproofing, along with mesh and TPU overlays. Salomon branding wraps around the heel, and the model is finished off with a tough black rubber outsole.

The SSENSE x Salomon XT-6 GTX drops on October 19 exclusively via SSENSE. The other collaborative releases are due between October 11 and 25, so stay locked to Sneaker Freaker for news.
