have debuted their latest collaboration – an alternate interpretation of the Low 'Lightning.' The colab brings the colourway's signature pigment front and centre, coating the upper in the electrifying yellow hue.

SoleFly revealed the colab with a video posted to their Instagram that shows a pair personally made for DJ Khaled, featuring 'WE THE BEST' embroidered on the ankle collar. A different pair embroidered with 'ASAHD' (Khaled's young son) on the collar is also shown, but it'll be a while before the one-year-old can rock a pair. A hashtag attached to the video notes that just 13 personalised pairs have been made.

The Instagram account of SoleFly owner Carlos Prieto offers further insight into who the lucky 13 might be, showing pairs personalised for the likes of Mark Wahlberg, Chris Paul, Drake and Russell Westbrook. Ben Baller and Colombian singer J Balvin are also tagged in the image. While only 13 personalised pairs appear to have been made, the public will have the chance to cop this colab release in February according to Prieto's post – although limited numbers can be expected.

The release itself commemorates Michael Jordan's appearance in the 2002 NBA All-Star Game, where he laced up in the OG Air Jordan 17 Low 'Lightning' for the very first time, so it can be expected that the SoleFly x Air Jordan 17 Low 'Alternate Lightning' will release on or around NBA All-Star Weekend 2018 – which runs from February 16 to 18.
