Vans SNEEZE Out New Chukka Colab

SNEEZE Magazine Vans Chukka
SNEEZE Magazine Vans Chukka

Skate publication SNEEZE Magazine dabble with sneaker collaborations every now and again, and up next is a trio of clean Vans Chukkas, which have been beefed up for grip tape use.

Under the Vans Skate line, classics like the Chukka are strengthened with sturdier materials and useful technology hidden inside. From the outside, suede uppers are naturally more durable than canvas, and they’ve been rendered in tonal ‘Acid’ neon yellow, ‘Brown’ and ‘White’ finishes. This meets Vans’ classic waffle rubber sole, but those with a keen eye will notice the midsole tape and foxing has been heightened for more protection and longevity against abrasion. On the topic of proportions, fatter laces also add that extra degree of useful life. Under the surface, Vans Popcush insoles are a more performance oriented choice that ‘pops’ back and provides impact protection as opposed to the outright soft cushioning and compression of Ultracush.

According to head honcho Mr SNEEZE, the Chukka is ‘the shoe for ’22’ and completes the colab with SNEEZE branding on the heel pull tab and insole.

The SNEEZE Magazine x Vans Chukka will be available exclusively from SNEEZE’s web store and at Dime in Montreal from January 21 at noon (EST time).
