SneakersBR Celebrate Their 15th Anniversary With an Adidas Forum Low

SneakersBR are celebrating their 15th anniversary this year! Hailing from Brazil, they’re the first sneaker media outlet to be written in Portuguese and will be honouring their birthday with an Adidas collaboration. This won’t be their first rodeo with Team Trefoil – they were tapped to create an F&F Superstar back in 2020 to celebrate the silhouette’s 50th anniversary. Their latest is a Forum Low, dubbed ‘Cristal’, which focuses on the passage of time.

‘We used the time crystal, a complex concept crafted by American physicist Frank Wilczek, in 2012, as an inspiration for adding six shades of blue to the OG Forum colourway and wondering what a “crystallised version” of the iconic silhouette would be’, says Ricardo Nunes, founder of SneakersBR in a press release.

Throwing it back to the Forums of the 80s, SneakersBR has opted for a classic look, rocking a full white leather base alongside subtle suede hits on the toebox and rear. Rounding it out is the icy outsole, chenille Three Stripes and specialised lateral graphics.

The SneakersBR x adidas Forum Low ‘Cristal’ will release as a Brazil-exclusive on September 10 via the adidas webstore.
