SneakerBAAS Link With KangaROOS to Create a Weed-Themed Coil-R2
Dutch sneaker retailer have been in the game since 2007, and if there’s one thing these OGs know how to do, it’s creating epic collaborative creps with none other than . So far, the dynamic duo have reworked the and , and today they’re back once again, revisiting their ‘Sin City’, inspired by Europe’s very own Sin City: Amsterdam.
Dubbed the ‘Sin City 2’, the duo have moved away from the debaucherous haven that is the red-light district for inspiration, and set their sights on another sinful activity that Amsterdam has plenty of – The Devil’s Lettuce (Marijuana).
SneakerBAAS went all out on production with this Coil-R2. Handmade in Germany, the silhouette boasts a nice mix of materials. Hairy suede definitely sets the tone, while vegan leather gives off a luxe ostrich vibe. If green is what you’re after, then say no more because the whole upper has been decked out in a three-tone green vibe, with black across the mid section toning it down. A white midsole and gum outsole go perfectly with the luxury leather-lined collar.
SneakerBAAS add their finishing touches through a weed leaf and bong on each heel, plus boujee leather tongue branding. Completing the whole theme is the iconic KangaROOS tongue pockets, where you can stash your herb.
