Shoes 53045’s Easy Rid’Air is a $500 Manic Masterpiece
This is not the first time have caught our attention at SF HQ. If you think their was wild, catch an eyeful of the Easy Rid’Air! One-part cowboy boot, and one-part bubble-bottomed sneaker, it’s the label’s homage to acclaimed 1969 film, Easy Rider (hence the name).
There is a lot going on here, so let’s break it down bit by bit. Despite its suede-like upper, the Easy Rid’Air is a vegan shoe as it’s free from animal products. Quick access is granted into its shin-hugging cut via a medial ankle zipper, while spiky ankle joint straps provide extra lockdown. Thankfully, this additional hardware is removable via a slot and pin fixture, creating a clean look.
Add a double-stacked full-length air (not Air) sole and it’s a crazy pair of shoes – for the princely sum of $500. Available from Shoes 53045.
