Shoe Palace Take on the Converse Chuck 70
Since first opening their doors in 1993, Shoe Palace have expanded to open up over 160 locations across the United States. Before they were selling shoes, however, Shoe Palace's founding Mercho family was hawking stereos at flea markets. Thus, the inspiration behind Shoe Palace's upcoming Converse collaboration.
Celebrating the chain's 25th anniversary, the 'Boom Box' drop takes on the Chuck 70 to bring a little music-inspired flair to the iconic high-top. Boom box nods hit everything from the insoles and tongue badge to the heel and medial side of the rubber midsole wrap, as dials and knobs appear throughout. The outsoles of the kicks even pay homage to the first-ever Shoe Palace store.
Look for the black and white 'Boom Box' duo to be available both in-store and online this Friday, December 7.
