Danish retailer Shoe Chapter have been a strong partner of neighbouring brand , particularly with the revamped sneaker that helped define their contemporary lifestyle offering. To celebrate the store’s 10th anniversary, their relationship has been solidified with a new official collaboration on the model, which is the physical manifestation of SC’s ‘Core Principles’: wear, care, collect.
Given the versatility of the REACH LX 6000 to date, its blend of leather, suede and mesh takes well to just about any colour. Shoe Chapter opt for an understated blend of forest green and cream white, harking back to classic colourways. A splash of purple on the heels adds a bit of left-field flavour, while the gum outsole is a nice nod to hummel’s indoor shoe heritage. This bespoke edition also introduces a padded tongue for more a traditional look while increasing comfort. The heels are embroidered with SC and 10 to mark the milestone. Everything is packaged up in a custom shoe box and wrapped in a matching dust bag with an extra set of laces. And that’s not all – all pairs come with a bonus monogrammed scarf!
