Heat Be Hot! Salehe Bembury x New Balance 1906R Drop This Week

Update January 9, 2023: Salehe Bembury’s upcoming New Balance 1906R ‘Heat Be Hot’ capsule is slated to arrive this week. Flaming the cover of Sneaker Freaker Issue 49, the red-hot design will appear on Spunge on January 11 at 12pm EST. Coming in two colourways, the collaboration was originally expected to launch at the backend of 2023.

Update December 20, 2023: After being exclusively unveiled on the cover of Sneaker Freaker Issue 49, Salehe Bembury has further teased his latest New Balance 1906R collaboration. In the exclusive interview, he told us that they'll come out before the end of 2023, so stay locked for the exact details.

Update September 25, 2023: Following the initial teasing back in June, Salehe Bembury has revealed another collaborative NB1906R! Release details are still scarce at this point, but pairs are rumoured to land later this year.

Footwear news from Fashion Week in Paris continues to roll in and looks like Salehe Bembury continues to be a busy man. Recently named the creative director for Crocs Pollex, the designer looks like he has another New Balance collaboration in the works.

Previously collaborating on the New Balance 2002r, 574 Yurt, and 990v2, it looks like the 1906 is on deck. Posted to his Instagram with the Eiffel Tower in the backdrop, Bembury is seen wearing a pair that features a yellow-to-red gradient on the mesh upper with metallic silver and black overlays. The N logo is seen in orange, bridging the yellow and red, with a white midsole and black outsole finishing off the sneaker.

No news of a release is known yet for the potential Salehe Bembury x New Balance 1906, but keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker as we wait for more information.
