Salehe Bembury Pulls Out Trio of Clarks Mud Moss Luggers
is expanding his collaborative catalogue by working with Originals on three takes of the Mud Moss Lugger, a modified version of the classic Lugger model. Bembury’s penchant for bright colours and textures is exemplified on these very sensory crepe-soled shoes.
Coming in tonal options of orange, green, and grey, the collaboration takes things to the next level by using particularly tactile suede, which is contrasted with splotchy patches on the toe box. There’s also contrasting heel counter patterning. The Lugger’s unique offset lacing and partial moccasin-style toe wrap also add to the unorthodox package. This is completed by a thick and tall crepe rubber sole reminiscent of the unit found on the Wallabee Cup model.
