Ring in the Year of the Rat with adidas UltraBOOST CNY Pack
Chinese New Year is one of the highlights of the sneaker calendar, and are ringing in the Year of the Rat with a celebratory pack.
Comprising the hot-off-the-presses UltraBOOST 20, and the throwback UltraBOOST DNA, the quartet weaves thematic references through its knit, while keeping the look wearable.
The lead offering, a UB 20, sees grey Primeknit+ crawling with cranes and big cats, while red koi swim across the clean white BOOST. Paring things back, the second 20 pairs black PK and black BOOST with flashy gold Three Stripes to hammer home the CNY theme.
The two UltraBOOST DNAs take the same route, forgoing ostentation for understatement. The first pairs a shadowy upper with a subtle motif on the heel counter, while the second floods the inky sole unit with blue crane feathers.
Chinese New Year is on January 25 in 2020, but you can start celebrating early; these are available at now.
