Release Date Announced: Rich Paul x New Balance 550
Klutch Sports founder, power broker and pro athlete whisperer Rich Paul's full collection with has officially been announced! The was first teased in November, but it's now been revealed that Paul's shoes will be accompanied by a set of apparel, and the inspiration behind the colab has been shared as well.
The is a retro hoops shoe from 1989 so it's a fitting choice for Paul, whose name holds great sway in the world of basketball. It features a 'Raw Cashew/White/Eclipse Blue' colour scheme, created to showcase how the 'sky's the limit' in professional sports, is equipped with special pebbled leather for another nod to basketball and features custom Rich Paul branding on its tongue.
Paul and New Balance have also created a special set of apparel to accompany the kicks. There are tracksuits, T-shirts and shorts, each done up in two different colour schemes. 'Growing up, we always had an affinity for fashion but had very limited resources to express ourselves, and few examples of what success could look like off the court', said Paul. 'When New Balance approached me about a collaboration, more than anything, I wanted to create something to inspire and empower young people coming up behind us – for boys and girls with creativity, passion and fearless determination to stay true to themselves'.
If you're looking to sign on to Paul's collection with New Balance, you can expect it to drop via the brand's web store and Paul's own klutchshop.com come December 10. Prices range from $40 for the graphic tee to $130 for the 550.
