Having first been rumoured back in , the restock of the in both ‘Rock’ and ‘Oil’ colourways has arrived. The earliest seasons of the Yeezy footwear and apparel line from the late-2010s veered into ‘desertcore’ territory, with an abundance of sandy shades and quasi-military aesthetics. And now you’re about to get another chance to add these to your rotation.
The Yeezy Desert Boot is one of the more premium offerings in Ye’s range, with the higher cut and sturdy materials helping to set it apart from other items on the Yeezy catalogue. A mixture of suede and nubuck keeps things supple, while generously-sized mesh inserts are added along the ankle, midfoot and tongue for plenty of ventilation. This sits atop a chunky foam midsole, which wraps into a heightened mudguard, and a slightly rippled outsole. And while the design could probably handle an actual desert expedition if required, this desert boot is much more likely to be seen trekking through your Instagram timeline than your nearest arid landscape.
