Restock Alert: The Air Jordan 3 ‘Racer Blue’ Returns to JD Sports

That lofty self-assessment is confirmed again as they’ve gotten their hands on a limited allocation of the ‘Racer Blue’, which first dropped back in July. For sneakerheads looking for a fresh new colourway without veering too far from the OG styling that defined the AJ3, this is the one to go for!
Red may be the colour more closely associated with classic Air Jordan models because of time playing for the Chicago Bulls, but blue has actually been an integral part of the OG lineup since day dot. Examples include the ‘Metallic Navy’ and ‘Royal’, ‘Military Blue’ and ‘Sport Blue’. Now, the Air Jordan 3 ‘Racer Blue’ slots itself in comfortably between these original makeups with period-correct colour-blocking.
Jordanheads in particular will recognise the similarities to the ‘Fire Red’ 3 that the ‘Racer Blue’ has borrowed its palette from. Tumbled white leather uppers meet dark grey elephant print before joining ‘Racer Blue’ trim on the midsole strip, eyelets, ankle collar and tongue lining.
The Air Jordan 3 ‘Racer Blue’ will release on October 28 at selected JD Sports Australia locations around the country. Check with local doors for availability.
