Rep Your Alma Mater in College-Inspired adidas Ultra4Ds
The is a modern iteration of the supremely popular , which was first updated with a 4D sole in 2020. As part of the hybrid model’s continued rollout beyond GRs and collaborations, is this duo of college-inspired colourways, corresponding to the Miami Hurricanes and Arizona State.
The Hurricanes football kit is one of the most recognisable colour combos around, having already loaned the distinct green and orange strip onto adi models before. For the Ultra4D, it’s a fairly similar execution to the UltraBOOST – after all, they share the same upper. This results in bright orange threaded throughout green Primeknit, with the latter colour taking the majority across the toe bumper and ankle collar. Meanwhile, the orange accent shows up on the external heel counter, lining and tongue. For additional contrast, white stripes appear on the midfoot, which are then complemented by the cream white lattice structure of adi’s innovative 4D midsole.
Arizona State similarly have a recognisable team colour of maroon and mustard. Like their Miami counterpart, the combination is mixed throughout the Ultra4D’s upper, with the darker maroon taking precedence on the front portion, and the warm yellow up in the rear. However, the ASU inspo takes a decidedly darker turn with thick black stripes on the sides as opposed to Miami’s polar opposite.
Both editions of the adidas Ultra4D will be releasing on the adidas CONFIRMED app on September 24.
