Release Update: The Air Jordan 12 ‘Royalty’ Expected Later This Year

Following expectations that it would be landing early next month, it seems the Air Jordan 12 ‘Royalty’ will now hit stores in November, not that fans of the silhouette will need any more time to decide on this deluxe colourway.

Initially thought to be another ‘Taxi’ rendition, the new ‘Royalty’ moniker was first reported back in June this year. The 90s baller will return with a white tumbled leather upper, and a textured black mudguard. It differs from that legendary ‘Taxi’ scheme by adding to the classic gold eyelets with a guilt mudguard, as well as tongue and heel details. These additions provide a nice tweak, giving enough to make these feel new, but still keeping the OG fans on side.

If you’re interested in obscure AJ12s, you should check out the recent listing of a Kobe Bryant game-worn pair. Shares are currently being offered for the pair via sports memorabilia platform Collectable.

Rumours now suggest that pairs of the Air Jordan 12 ‘Royalty’ will land on November 13 at Nike and selected Jumpman stockists such as GOAT and Flight Club.
