Release Info: The Nike Air Max 90 ‘Laser’
There were late last month, and then a release in some regions, but now we have news of a wider drop for the intricate ‘Laser’. Following the June release of a , this latest ‘Laser’ scheme rocks the same laser-etched woodgrain aesthetic but with a noticeably darker finish.
Beyond the obvious, this Air Max 90 also stands out for other reasons. For starters, the upper is basically a single seamless piece of leather, whereby only the tongue and heel tab are stitched on. This means the colourway designer would have had to painstakingly draw out the laser graphics on a flat pattern, while ensuring everything lines up to represent the usual panels. The premium leather also distinguishes this AM90 from other releases, being used inside and out – down to the lining and insole. If that’s not enough for you, the waxed cotton laces provide another premium feature.
Pairs of the Air Max 90 ‘Laser’ are scheduled to land Stateside on August 27 at Nike and selected Swoosh retailers.
