Release Info: Kith Unveil Campaign for New Balance 1300 Collaboration
Continuing Kith’s 10th anniversary celebrations, founder Ronnie Fieg reprises his ongoing partnership with New Balance on the new RC 1300 silhouette. An homage to Fieg’s first collaboration with the Boston brand, the project represents ‘where Kith has been and where the brand is headed’.
Arriving in three colourways – ‘Astro’, ‘Canvas’, and ‘Dusty Mauve’ – the modern model is given a luxe construction, with a mesh and pigskin suede upper. Side panels feature a classic N logo layered with Kith’s monogram debossing. Additionally, there’s a Pegasus logo, which nods to the brand’s decade in the game. The ENCAP Reveal sole unit is an upgrade in NB’s classic design, while the addition of a Vibram outsole adds to the classy details.
For the campaign, Fieg has called on the help of some masters of their craft across a wide range of professions. These people include Michael Madsen (actor), Ryan Leslie (musician), Nobu Matsuhisa (chef), Daniel Arsham (artist), Martine Ali (designer), Leonard Logsdail (bespoke tailor), Lucy Park (ceramist), and Anthony Williams (NYC chess aficionado).
