Release Info: Carpet Company x Nike SB Dunk High Drops This Week!
will continue to support local skate brands in 2021, prepping another collaborative , this time alongside Baltimore-based Carpet Company. Founded in 2015 by two brothers – Ayman and Osama Abdeldayem – Carpet Company has put its own distinctive spin on the release, which includes one of the best we’ve seen.
The eye-catching Dunk comes dressed in white, ‘Dark Sulfur’, ‘Coconut Milk’, and ‘Royal Pulse’. The white leather upper is covered in graphic print appearing on the wear-away blue canvas overlays. Once worn away, the uppers will reveal a bright yellow hue. Additionally, there’s hidden branding on the tongue tags, and heels, while a gum rubber outsole and an aged midsole hit down below. Inside, you’ll find branded graphic insoles. For friends and family, a special version with a metal oil canister outer packaging has been created, and will only be available in very limited numbers.
Carpet Company officially confirmed a drop at its Baltimore location, which took place on February 21 and 22. However, a wider release at local skate shops will take place on February 26.
