Delayed! The Air Jordan 5 ‘Oreo’
UPDATE: Originally slated to return on September 10, the Air Jordan 5 ‘Oreo’ will now hit shelves on September 25. The latest release details were provided by Nike SNKRS.
Originally launching in 2013, the ‘Oreo’ will now make an unexpected return this month, the iconic colour scheme gracing an indomitable silhouette. There’s been plenty of ultra-tasty ‘Oreo’ sneakers over the years. All the major footwear labels have dipped and dunked the cookie colourway, the culinary highlight a consistent star on the GR calendar – once again proved by 2021’s Air Jordan 4 ‘White Oreo’ drop.
Presented in delectable back nubuck, the iconic AJ5 netting is this time presented as translucent netting. Down below, the clean white midsoles are emblazoned with speckled, Oreo-like shark teeth, while the icy translucent outsole continues the aesthetic from the aforementioned mesh uppers.
Look for the Air Jordan 5 ‘Oreo’ to release on September 25. The retail price is $190.
