Release Details: Yeezy Knit Runner ‘Sulphur’
and his label continue to fuel the sneaker zeitgeist with some of the most neck-cranking footwear in the game, the eccentric Yeezy Knit Runner a testament to boundary-pushing design.
Hot on the heels of the Yeezy and Yeezy Slides, the Knit Runner is surely one of Yeezy’s most unorthodox sneakers yet (does it even constitute as a sneaker!), the silhouette first surfacing online in July.
We now have official release details surrounding the debut ‘Sulfur’ colourway, the two-tone composition built with a laceless knit upper. Another slip-on design from Team Yeezy, the Knit Runner opts for sunny yellow towards the base, while the shoe size is printed on the ankle collar. Down below, a yellow rubber outsole completes the design.
Originally dubbed the ‘Turreliens’ and ‘TRRL RNR’, the Knit Runner obviously takes aesthetic cues from the Foam Runner, while breaking significantly from its counterpart in terms of material construction.
